    Hi guys,

Right now I have my Sky+ box (Pace model, I believe) connected to my TV via a S-Video input (not ideal I know, but it's a stopgap until my plasma is delivered). The annoying thing is that it doesn't support wide-screen signalling. I have it enabled in the menu, but it has no effect. Does anyone know the solution to this? Or is it a known fault?

My DVD player is also connected via S-Video at the moment, and that signals absolutely fine.

    Thoughts?

The screen switching signal is on the scart connector - there isn't one on s-video. I used to have an elderly Toshiba TV which had s-vid and scart, and I found that the switching signal worked if I connected both and switched the input to s-vid. That's the only TV I've seen it work on, though, but it might be worth investigation.
