Widescreen PC on Toshiba 46WM48? Anybody managed?

I'm keen to try and get a widescreen display from my PC (Ati card...Catalyst Installed). So far all I can get is the 4:3 part filled up in the middle of the screen.

I did manage to put it into 1280x768 but all I got was 1280x768 squashed into the 4:3 part in the middle of the screen. Is there a way to stretch this?

Or ideally, is it possible to get it running in the TVs native 1280x720 resolution and filling the screen?

Have you tried the search button? Lots of info if you look.

It will happily run fullscreen 1280x768 on vga, 1280x720 or 1920x1080 on HDMI(DVI).

I did search, but didn't hit on that particular thread.

I've got it kind of working in the meantime anyway. Now I just need to figure out why the 720p and the 1080i modes in Catalyst Conrol Panel are greyed out.
