widescreen or auto aspect on phillips 42" hd

With this telly and the 360 hd drive, should we use (widescreen) or (auto) in the menu.

widscreen is just that with black borders top and bottom but auto blows the entire screen up with the film, which is the correct aspect? cheers.

Widescreen will maintain correct ratio.
