Widescreen LCD for around £350 to £400

I am interested in getting a Widescreen LCD but for the max of £400 it to go on bedroom wall. As big as possible Be nice if it HD ready but dont think it will be for this price

Please help where to get one from cheers

lol, £400 would get you the letters LCD printed on abit of cardboard, stick that on your wall with pride. On a serious note Samsung do a nice 26 inch model that is widescreen, HD ready and you can sneak it on-line for just under £600. Anything cheaper and you are asking for a disaster.

Look at the panasonic LX2 172 widescreen. Cost me £350.00. Not HD ready but not bothered for a bedroom tv. At the end of looking at almost every LCD the panasonic was the best pq and the sound was a clear winner.

i also considered the toshiba 20wlt I think it is £450.00 ws with built in freeview.
