Ok before I start please note two things: A) Im not sure if this is the right place to ask this. B) I know everyone hates 4:3 but me. I have a small insignificant question you may think, but for me its very annoying. It happens when my dvd is set at any of the three options (4:3, 4:3 P&S, 16:9). Ive noticed it on both Men in Black 2 and The Scorpion King. Whilst watching on either of my 4:3 tvs both of these films from time to time resize the screen area to more black line and less picture and then flicks back. Can someone please advise me of what this is and why it happens? Also I would rather not just have answers like yeah 4:3 sucks (as it happens to be a format I prefer). The only reason I am asking as Im unsure if this if built into either machines or dvds to make consumers move onto 16:9. As surely I would have thought the only problem with watching 16:9 on a 4:3 tv would be the sides cut off etc. I hope someone can help me with this rather annoying glitch. Thanks in advance to those who may provide me with the answer. Ripco.
