    Hi guys,

As the subject says, I'm after a pretty cheap widescreen, and since Empire Direct have a sale on I figure I should be able to get a bargain. I've had a look through the forum to find similar questions and noticed that a Thomson tele was recommended. The ones I'm looking at though are the Philips 28PW6006C, Sanyo 28WN6, Toshiba 28Z23B, and I guess the Thomson 28WF25US (I've ruled out a Sharp, and pretty much ruled out the Sanyo actually).

If anyone has any specific comments on any of these that'd be great, but basically I want to know in general, which manufacturer would be best? I've heard good things about Toshiba, and it looks good, so...?

BTW, they're all on this page (and the next):

Any help would be appreciated :)
