I've got a Panasonic 32inch widescreen, which has just died on me, after only two and a half years. So I'm after an inexpensive, reliable 32inch widescreen with decent picture (sound not so important), something that will tide me over for the next couple of years until large screen LCD's come down in price and the HD/SKY situation is clearer. The tv would be hooked up to sky digital, used with playstation 2 and the occasional DVD. Progressive scan is a nice to have but not essential, I'm not so sure about a 100hzt tv, are there negatives? I once read that 100Htz TV's weren't good for consoles but I don't know if there is any truth in this. I'm interested in the JVC AV32X47 - Is this the 32inch version of the AV-28X4SKA, this got a good review/best buy in What Video Aug 2004 ( http://www.homecinemachoice.com/cgi-bin/displayreview.php?reviewid=4680 ). Is it safe to assume that the 32 inch is just as good as 28 version ? I have seen it on http://www.digital-point.co.uk/model.php?ID=857 for the amazingly low price of £533. Are there any other TV's I should consider around the £600 range? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
