Sigma 10-20 is very popular - lowest on camerapricebuster is £315 but you may get a decent 2nd hand one for £250

When you say wide angle I assume you mean along the lines of an ultra wide angle (UWA) - say a Sigma 10-20mm?

If so, you may be able to pick up a used example of the Sigma lens that has HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor?) built in for around the £250 mark. :)

Basically as long as it is wide angle (for some school class photos) and auto focus, thats all we need.

I am a noob as far as this is concerned, I just point and click so the auto does it all for me.
