seeing as all the scart blocks i have tried are crap can't some company make a tv with loads of inputs.
    if one is listening,
    5 scarts
    1 component
    1 svideo
    1 rca
and if you have got any lying around the factory floor maybe a vga would be good!

Most sets are woefull. Still we can live in hope. I think the problem is most people who purchase sets will only connect up an ariel, vcr (and or dvd player) and maybe a decoder so the demand is not there.

I DEMAND one. :D I've been looking for a remote controlled switcher with 5 scart inputs, 3 scart outputs, and a separate audio out. No joy. It can't be that hard can it?

Most AV amps will do this. They don't have SCARTS, but then that's actually a Good Thing. SCARTS are a convenience, but reduce flexibility. Suitable cables and/or adaptors are needed for equipment that has only got SCART sockets on it.
