...is there no DAB tuner in the FMJ range?
There used to be but no-one bought it so it was dropped from the range. That and that fact that DAB sounds rubish anyway meant it wasn't a high fidelity enough source warranting an FMJ product.
You learn something every day! Cheers.
The FMJ DAB tuner was based on the hardware of the Alpha 10 DRT. This is now an old design. The DIVA DAB Tuner (DT81?) is a newer generation tuner and has much better facilities. Unless you want an ideal cosmetic match I would go for the DIVA tuner. You may be able to find the FMJ tuner second hand somewhere.
Take a look at the new Diva DAB/FM Tuner DT91
combined DAB & FM radio tuner
all digital processing for FM
full implementation of DAB features
full implementation of FM/RDS facilities
audiophile design using 24-bit / 192 Wolfson DACs
digital output from DAB or FM
attractive easy-to-read graphic display
full remote control
RS232 or IR control for multi-room systems (unique feature)
available in silver or black
It's ok... I don't actually want one, was just curious!
Thanks for the replies all the same
