I’ve a panasonic DVD video recorder DMR-E55EB-S multi-region. When I try to play DVD-Rs burnt on my laptop, it says UNSUPPORTED format on the panny. But the DVD-R plays fine on the laptop and on a friends Pioneer. Heelp!

I"m afraid its the nature of the beast , Panasonic recorders are usually fussy over the media they will replay particularly so if the recording wasn"t made/finalised on them.

I find that datawrite yellow dvd"s are accepted by the machine (but not always on first insertion ).
