Seems a pretty fair question. I know most models have been around for about 7 months or so, but recently Panasonic LCDs have dropped in price by quite a substantial amount, especially the DT30.

Why is this? Is there a fault that has just recently been picked up or something? The DT30 is seemingly one of the cheapest 3D LCDs available now, although it is apparently the "best" (cited like that due to the very nature of the word "best" being subjective).

Please let me know.

Thank you.

could be a number of reasons, end of line selling off an old model to make way for a new one, people not buying TVs in enough numbers so they lower the price to shift stock or maybe the price went down for black Friday.. I very much doubt they lowered the price because the TV has a fault as that is just asking for trouble down the line.

Also Panasonic TV's tend to be at the upper end of the price bracket for a given specification/size.

I have not noticed any reduction in the price of the 24" 1080p Freeview HD model I want for my new kitchen!
