Halo 2 for example, is being spat out in 480p. The FIRST time i had it going it was fine gamma wise, but since then it seems to have decided to drop the value. It 'feels' like gamma to me because adjusting brightness and contrast on the TV set itself only bleaches the picture.

If it was a PC game I'd be straight to the video settigns in the game to up the gamma.

How are people dealing with this? Is there a known hex edit available for each game?

halo2 is just a darkly lit game i'm afraid. Anything the resembles a dark corner or a shadow is just to dark on my tv with the setting i have for watching tv/films/other games so i have to adjust the Brightness by about 10 to make it playable

I had to adjust the brightness too, especially in the opening level.
