    Hi

Just an annoying thing that I hope you can advise me about.

Sometimes, when I watch cable on my TV - one program will be perfect, but the next the edges won't be displayed (i.e. cut off). I've tried switching between 16:9 and 4:3 but nothing sorts it. Any advice/ideas?

Make sure that your set top box is set to 16:9 wide for a wide screen tv or 16:9 letter box for a 4:3 tv see if this helps. If your cable box is still an old analogue one however you may have a problem. A lot of programs on sky ect are now broad cast in 16:9 the old analogue boxes however just show the center of the image in 4:3. this is why you might have a problem.
If it is not this problem then maybe the tvs overscan is a bit much and needs adjusting. This can normaly only be done in the televisions service menu.
Check what I have said firsy then post again and let me know. :)
