I have a Optoma HD26 projector ive just setup in my garage and really happy with it, i followed the settings someone recommended ona forum for best image and this meant putting it into cinema mode.

When it comes to watching films its fine but when I sdwitch to my PC and go on a browser that has a white background then the fan goes louder and must spin faster, but if i switch to another mode like vivid or game its fine on this.

Just wondered if theres a way to stop iot doing this as dont want to keep having t switch from cinema mode everytime i go on pc.

    Thanks

It is probably that cinema has been tuned for the lowest fan speed possible, but that means it has to speed up when there is a lot of white content in the image (not usually a problem in movies)

At a guess, those other modes probably have a faster base fan speed?
