Why does getting PS1 games onto my psp have to be so hard?? Help please!!

I have installed dark alex firmware, ripped an iso of a ps1 game, but i am now stuck.

Everywhere says you need hot shots golf from the ps store........its not there. I don't know what files are needed where. Can someone please help with some simple instruction. I have already tried loads of the psp forums but the instructions there are sooo confusing.

What firmware are you running?

I've just installed 3.40 oe-a and all I have to do is rip the psx disc (alcohol 120% in .cue mode) then feed it to popstation (psgui-v300) that does the rest - then let it transfer it into the psp's GAME directory.

I can then boot it straight from the memory stick menu, no need for hot shots golf etc
