Why does Firefox have so many problems with Vista (or vice versa)? I regularely have shutdowns and cannot figure out why. I always happens while browsing and it's really nerve wrecking!

I have to say that I use Firefox with Vista and don't suffer from the problem you have. I know that doesn't help you, but it does go to show that it may be a local fault on your PC.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

Does it only happen when you are using Firefox?

If it only happens on sites with Flash in them:
Go to a website with Flash in it. Right-click on the Flash animation and select Settings. Click on the first "tab" and deselect "Enable Hardware Acceleration".

Also make sure that Flash is up to date. This is important for security too.
