Why does Family Afairs picture look so good?

    The picture quality when watching Family Afairs is fantastic. It looks so realistic at times, its wierd. I've never seen anything on TV anywhere near. Good work.

    I am guessing that programme is on Channel Five, who use a higher bitrate than any other channel. (Sky Movies may be higher, I don't know.)

    C5's picture quality can be really noticeably better than the other major broadcasters, the other end of the scale is obviously ITV whose poor picture quality just gives me another reason never to watch it.

    I also think this is originally made in and shown in HD in Aussieland and downconverted for here.
