C9 in 88” would be absolutely perfect.
Annoyed, so will get the 77” so at least when there is an HDMI 2.1 blu ray player, there will be no judder at 120hz
I’m guessing the Z9 88” will be over US$60K - so it’s an ‘up sell’ marketing decision at LG

And here's me wondering whether to spend £1500 on a LG Oled...

There aren’t many people who want, need or have the space for an 88” 8K (or 4k for that matter”) OLED TV. Therefore, it will be somewhat niche and priced accordingly. If demand for an 88” OLED is sufficient then we may see a C version sometime in the future. For now the 8k 88” will probably debut around the £25,000 region.

The wall in my tv room is 2.85m wide. If the screen was also the speaker an 88” tv would fit perfectly, but I’ll wait for prices to fall. I’m thinking 5-10 years. Will be a nice upgrade from my current 65” C8. If I reversed the room the wall is 3.15m perhaps allowing for an 100” tv!?Better still the wall in the lounge is 4m wide and by my calculations an 150” tv would fit... though maybe getting carried away!

After that? Maybe TVs on more than 1 wall in the room? On the ceiling?
