why cant i get the blue light to stay on

    today when i was on the menu the tray lit up and stayed on until i turned of the wii it kept fading dim to bright like it was trying to stay on but when i restared the wii it was off any one else have this proplem allso metroid 2 echos looks amazing on the wii connected through component on a hd bravia lcd but twilight princess not so good whats up with that?:D

    The light only comes on when you have a new message etc, Yesterday it was to let you know there was an update to make the weather channel work.

    As for Zelda yeah it doesnt look as good as some other games but hey what a bloody good game eh? :smashin:

    I know what you mean though would look smart if the blue neon was on all the time and say maybe blinked when you had a message :cool:

    Ahh didnt know that I came downstairs in the morning to find my slot lit up blue......and the console was not even on!

    Thought it may be shot but thats very smart!
