Why buy rounded IDE cables...

    I was bored last night and seeing as my machine was still in bits after fitting a new mobo I decided to make my IDE cables round. A stanley knife, electrical tape and 5 minutes later the job was done.

    And great there are too. There just seems to be more room in my case and it's far easier to route the cables where I want them to go.

    Next time your machine is in pieces, go for it.

    Can't be bothered when they are so cheap to buy, and electrical tape looks naff!!! :p

    Sod that!:p

    Get Serial ATA then the drive cables are tiny, much better for air flow, and they're usually longer.:D
