I bought a Palm Tungsten E at weekend, and installed a 512MB SD card.

What a great toy! It replaces an older Palm PDA which was mainly used as a contact and scheduling device which I'm lost without!

What staggers me with this new PDA is how slim, powerful and cool it is.
Hell, it can be used as a mobile photo album, plays quicktime movies and mp3's!
I plugged in my Sennheiser ear buds and was astounded how acceptable the sound is.

You can now get 1GB SD cards for around £50, and the PDA itself can be attained for around £135.
So, why do people buy expensive portable mp3 players when a PDA like this does so much more. You can squeeze a hell of lot of tunes on a 1GB memory card.

Anyway, I'm really chuffed with my new toy and as a previous PDA owner, whole heartedly recommend the Palm Tungsten E. Brilliant.

i agree, but i think some people rather have the simplicity of an ipod than the complexities of a PDA. yes, PDAs are easy to use, but for music, an ipod is probably more user friendly, and trendy too!
