I'd decided to get a 32" LCD to stick on the kitchen wall but can't believe how bloated they are!

Thanks to this superb forum I'd narrowed my choices down to the Panny TX-32LMD70 and the Tosh 32C3030 but they are both 12cm deep which surprised me considering my 42" Fuji Plasma is only 6cm deep.

Am I back to the drawing board or are the all fatties?

Because there's a screen, circuitry, connection ports and room for cooling and then a housing case. There are some really thin LCDs coming to the market, but compared to CRT's, LCDs are a blessing.
