Why are some Blu-ray and 4K UHD discs louder than others?

I noticed this when I played the new Transformers: The Movie 4K UHD… our PS5 grinds the disc like crazy. But on our Harry Potter Blu-ray collection, the PS5 is whisper quiet.

I thought it might be an issue where the PS5 struggles to play UHD discs, but our Indiana Jones 4K UHD set is silent too.

Could this be a manufacturer issue from certain Blu-ray and UHD companies? Going back to Transformers, the PS5 really grinds both the Blu-ray and UHD discs… but for the most part, the majority of our collection plays fine.

Any thoughts?

Sometimes there are small manufacturing defects along the edges of the disc that can make it a little imbalanced and vibrate, my mortal kombat 11 disc is horrendous for it.
Have a look round the edge of the disc and see if there's any rough edge or bits of plastic from a dodgy press, failing that try your ps5 in a different orientation to your current one.
