Why are MP3 players lacking this feature?

    Radio with AM/MW?

    Is not technically possible?

    I am a big footie and music but cant seem to get both on one device?

    Strange.

    The iRivers receive FM only. The simple answer is size. An internal AM aerial is a big beastie and size is key these days.

    Hmmn,

    But my sony portable minidisc player has AM/FM Radio, mind you its on the remote, but that will do in my case. There is no big aerial, I think the aerial is lined inside the earphone cables.

    Does any of the manufactures does something similar as an add on extra?
