Why are BB speed checker results so different?

It's just the vagories of the internet.
No specific site will be 100% reliable as it depends on many things.

One thing I can say is that having tested with speedtest.net (London) for at least a couple of years, it's extremely accurate on the whole.
It has the odd dip, where I'll double check with my local (B'ham and Cov) servers, but I've commented a few times the London site's capacity must be massive, as it's rarely phased :smashin:

Thanks Badger, so can i assume that i'm nearer to 10meg ps than 2 meg ps?

EDIT: 5.6meg ps on the london server on speedtest.net...not too bad

You can take the higher reading every time.

It's always possible to get a low reading.

But it's not possible to get a higher reading, if you see what I mean.

And 9071kbps up says there is nothing to worry about.

Your connection is capable of near enough 10 MB, no worries :smashin:
