Help,

As title state i am getting some nasty blue flashes of light from blue ray films. I have a Sony 40Z4500 and use the PS3 as a blu ray player.

It is most noticable when on films they use torches or bright lights are on. It seems to occur from film light sources and is either a blue flash or an annoying blue line from the source which should otherwise be white. I just watch Indiana Jones (Crystal Skull) which was hampered by blue light in loads of scenes due to flame torches.

This doesn't happen from any other disk played through PS3 nor on any TV programme.

Has anyone got any suggestions. Both the TV and PS3 were new in december but work fine apart from this.

Please help.

Thanks

Sound slike a bad HDMI cable. Replacing it with another (not necessarily more expensive; just different) should resolve this.

Hmm, blue rays of light while trying to watch blu-ray, coincidence?

I had'nt considered that it may be the HDMI lead.

Anyone else heard or seen anything like this ?

Before i go and buy a new lead.

Thanks

Hi,

i tried changing the HDMI lead, but still have blue lines. It appears to be affecting light shadows aswel. I'm starting to think it may be my new Sony Z4500 TV which worries me.
