Who's upgraded from a Yam E800, what did you buy and how did you find the change?

    As per the title.
If you have experiences of moving on from an E800, I'm interested in the changes you got.

Surely someone on here has upgraded from an E800?

I went from a DSP-E800 (using arcam alpha 8 integrated amp) to my current Denon 3805 (alpha 8 still connected to fr preouts). I can't remember exactly all the new features I have gained but to summarise; the Denon has a lot more power, better decoding inc. DPL2, video functionality (component inputs), better calibration etc. Overall the sound from my Denon is a big enough improvement on it's own. The Yamaha is a cracking machine but I don't think I could give the Denon up now! I still maintain the Yam is a bargain and still ideal for those folks with a decent stereo setup looking to add 3.1 to it for movies.
