Just bought from mine from Letsgodigital for £1094 inc. delivery and Panasonic Localscreen1. Didn't want to go through the expense of addiional screens so went for that - might not be great but better than my white wall.

    Next day delivery too.

Just been setting the front room up over the last few days - I'm like a big kid again. Watched the start of Star Wars last night - full surround sound - fantastic. Just waiting for the complaints from the neighbours.

Question is, do I pay the extra and get a screen which I could then sell on (I have a Bemax 77") or pay less

Have to give it some thought, will be a few weeks till the cellar is ready so I might hold out till than :)

Don't want to wait though

    Will check I get a 1.7

Amazing how there can be virtually a £200 price difference between suppliers, on this product.

Nothing compared to the Tosh ET1 - some places doing it below £400, others over £700.

It pays to shop around!...PJ :)

I bought mine from DiscountTv, not the cheapest but they had a special offer of £100 off a projection screen if you bought ur projector from them and their service has been good so i'm glad i bought off them.

I have decided not to put the screen up just yet as my beautiful white wall has been more than good enough so far. I will keep it, though, in case I get banished by the misses to another room though.

Disappointed that my firmware was 1.03 but have already contacted Panasonic who are arranging to collect and upgrade it straight away, so no worries (other than being without my new toy for 10 days). Finding out if its 1.07 before buying will be impossible over the web.

Hmmmm might have to get my order in now for fitting in the middle of June, that way I can make sure we're all 1.07'd up before we go live

Did you know theres another "secret" menu hidden away on the projector which would allow updates via the web if only Panasonic would allow it, you go to Options then OSD and hold down enter for 3 seconds then when you get into the first secret menu you then go to HD Overscan and hold down enter again for 3 seconds this brings up another secret menu and from within here there is an option of an RS-232 computer port which can be changed to the D-Sub input, why Panasonic do not allow downloads directly to the projector i do not know but its possible using this second secret hidden menu.
