Hi all
I'm looking for a bit of advice after an unsuccessful start ...
I use a macbook and have been connecting it to a 32 inch Samsung TV via a hdmi cable i.e. using the tv as a computer monitor. The TV is quite old and the image resolution isn't great. Being sat so near to such a big screen is doing nothing for my eyesight!
The problem I have is that I need to use the TV as a TV as well as a monitor. something around 32 inch would be ideal for when I'm not sat at a desk and I'm a bit stuck in terms of what I should buy. Is there a way I can buy a 32 inch TV and make my laptop image smaller within the tv screen, like this?:

If this isn't possible, I guess I'd have to go with a smaller tv size?
Ideally I want to spend no more than £200.
Any advice would be massively appreciated as I'm struggling with my options. Many thanks in advance.
Cheers, Joe
