    I saw the last 45 min; I forgot it was on till too late.
    Genghis Khan was nothing like he was in the film. You got one chance at surrender and that was it, if not every one was slaughtered to the last man. I think there was only one city that defied him, but put up such a good fight he let them live. If they repeat it, there is a brilliant 6 part? documentary by the BBC on him.

    I think your talking about Storm from the East
    This documentary series was absolutely brilliant, I wish it was available on DVD. Hint, Hint, BBC Enterprises. :D

    I think that could be the one, an odd fact I remember from it was, the they wore silk rather than armour so they were faster, and they could pull arrows that struck them easily. Also they strung their bows after pulling the wood part back to front so they got more spring in it, making the arrows go farther and do more damage.
