If its not upto date, maybe you would like to update us?

I have been looking further into this and it appears that the Philips current models have very similar specifications to the Hitachi, I haven't been able to get the full specifications for the Pany that everyone seems to be raving about.

My 2 pence worth :- Most manufacturer buy in parts from others, why re-invent the wheel! Plus it also allows them to reject a larger number of panels for quality, if you made your own panels you would use as many as possible regardless of quality cost etc.
