My mate wants the R1 Fellowship of the Ring 4 disc set
and was wondering which site offers the best method
of protecting the discs for shipping.
I couldn't reccomend anyone inparticular as most of the
box-sets I've ordered in the past were slightly damaged
    in one way or another.
I know that most damage occurs in transit, but there must
be some sites that use better package ptotection than
    others.

Personally, I would go for DVDSoon (£16 ish) won't have any customs problems and should be packaged okay.

How sturdy is the cardboard with Amazon these days?
I haven't ordered from them for a long while now mainly
because of their (then) flimsy packaging.

The R1 comes in its own very sturdy box anyway (the toughest out of all the DVDs I own), so I wouldn't worry. Your mate should just get it from http://www.cd-wow.com/ and save a few bob. I got mine from there and it was packaged sufficiently well and arrived in immaculate condition. Even if it doesn't, they will send you another one without hassle.

    Cheers SG,
I often use cd-wow but have never ordered a box-set
from them. I've passed your comments on to him and
    he'll be ordering from them.
