Who has this DLP TV Panasonic PT-50DL54

    Looking for some that has hook this tv up to a pc running windows xp. My card is ATI 9800 pro with one of these cable setups RGB-RGB or DVI- HDMI. I hooked my up RGB-RGB used powerstrip and the aspect could get was only 4.3 not full screen. This is for playing pc game and internet help newbe :confused:

    Connect via the dvi/hdmi connection first, forget the RGB.

    Get the lastest drivers from ATI 5.4 Catalyst.

    Now install and set the display to 1280x720, 60Hz and that should be all you need to do. When you play games set it to this setting as well.

    You should get a stunning pic.

    By the way were are you living. I dont think this set is out yet in the UK?

    Razor this tv will not take 1280x720 still stay in 4.3 there must be something doing wrong now what ??

    The tv is about 6 months old great picture on bell exvu sat dish,dvd and xbox

    You should be able to pick 1280x720 as this is the native resolution to your DLP display.

    Have you got the latest catalyst drivers from ATI?

    When you are playing games you also have to set the resolution to 1280x720.

    If you cant do this you can force a resolution from with in catalyst, there is also a HDTV support, add 720p and 1080i.
