    Hi

I am running my 2910 through HDMI to a Samsung SP50 DLP and finding that anything white on a dvd is appearing very blocky, not sure of the technical term. Could this be macroblocking like other threads have discussed with this player.

Is there a setting I can reduce or increase to eliminate this as it even effects skin tones if light is reflecting on faces, and sky is a big problem.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Its annoying as darker scenes are looking amazing and I couldn't be happier.

Does your Samsung have DCDi? If so can you switch it off? It might just help.

My screen does have faroudja DCDi processing but I wouldn't have the first clue of how to switch this off. I have never seen this in the menus. The model is SP50L7H.

I'll also post in the rear projection forum as I may get a better response.

Do you or anyone else know?

My display never showed up issues in bright or white scenes using a 2910. They always looked ok to me...
