    Hello

Recently I created a VGA to Scart adapter to connect my HTPC to an old television (Panasonic). The TV only supports PAL. By using powerstrip I selected the custom resolution 720x528 50Hz interlaced.

The image quality for movies is perfect, except for one thing: on the top of the screen the image is much brighter. It's just +/- 75 pixels from the top that go from black (under) to white (top of the screen).

I already tried to alter the settings in Powerstrip (front & black porch and the vertical sync width), but that didn't make any difference.

I hope any of you has a tip for this problem.

    Thanks!

    [edit:]
I selected 720x528 instead of 720x576 or 720x568 because these resolutions have a lot of overscan (and also brighter white at the top of the screen)
