Which Yamaha receiver?

I all, I've just started into the 5.1 bug. Bought some speakers about 6 months ago along with a secondhand Yamaha DSP-763, it's been a cracking little amp but having sold my speakers and upgraded to Miller & Kreisel Xenon l/c/r and K4 tripole rears, I realise I need to up the ante in the receiver stakes. I want to stick with Yamaha but do like the aesthetics of Marantz. The 2 that've caught my eye are the 2067/3067 or the new RX-A1010 Aventage.

I only require this for TV/Movies. Can anyone in the know help me along with my decision. My absolute max budget would be £1000 but I'd like to have a little change.

Am I missing any other receivers etc?

Being new to all this, the amount of gear out there is overwhelming.

If you can still get one, my money would be going on the RX-V3067. I don't see £hundreds of pounds difference with the new Adventage models.

you can't go wrong with Yamaha amps, but the usual suspects Pioneer and Onkyo are very good too
