I was thinking of turning my reference speakers onto the sides and suspending them from the ceiling but wondered how gravity would affect the drivers. Especialy the base coupled drivers. I know the best place for them is having the drivers at ear level but they will be pointing down on an angle.

I'm no Isaac Newton, but aren't the gravitational forces the same, wether on the floor or suspended in the air?

The bass drivers have a force cancelling rod which stands verticaly. Wouldn't tilting the cabnit have an undesired effect? Or is it so light gravity wouldn't have much pull?
