Which wall mount bracket for Pionner KRP 50A?

Standard Member
Hi all,

Any suggestions on which slimline wall bracket would be suitable for mounting a Pioneer KRP 5OA? Tilt, pivot, swivel, etc, etc, is not a must have but would be a bonus.

On the same subject, i will be chasing out the wall that the TV will be mounted on to run the power cable, in relation to the very bottom edge of the TV, what height should the cable exit hole be? Also, what is the optimum height of the bottom edge of the TV from the floor? I was thinking around 75cm?

Brackets; Any of our 32" to 52" brackets will fit your TV depending on whether you want flat, tilt or articulated;

Installation; You only need the cable hole to be a couple of inches above the bottom of the TV unless you're going for an articulated bracket in which case it's better to go higher so you can have some slack in the cables. For installation height, the optimum is meant to be where your eyeline is at the top of the bottom third of the screen. However this does tend to look a little too low in most houses compared to all your other furniture and pictures/mirrors etc. With a plasma TV the viewing angle isn't too sensitive so you can tailor the position more to fit into the environment rather than for technical reasons. I'd say you could get away with anything up to 1.2M with this screen.

Hope this helps.
