Which type of optical cable???

    Hi - I want to connect my pioneer 626d dvd player to my Yamaha RX620RDS Receiver by optical, but i have realised that there are two types of connectors, TOSLINK and Miniplug. Which type to i need to get?(i want to get a van den hul optocoupler)

    Have a look in the specs in your manuals. I would think it's TOS you are after.

    Why not use coaxial? Bit better, even for those people who don't suffer being caught out as saps for hearing crap that other peoplem don't. IE. me.

    Much better for stereo music, even though the 620 really isn't suitable for stereo channel sound,

    Tuesday 5/2/02 - And yet another post resulting from a drunken binge. Suprised I haven't been fined.

    Try to invest somthing more expensive, it pay off by the quality, like the transmission rate is far greater in more expensive optical cable!
