which tv?! smasung or sony?!

I am looking for a new tv and this will be my first LCD and am looking at these two below.

Samsung LE32A559P - 32''

I have a £500 budget and was wondering whether people could give me some advice on what one to go for or if there are any others you would recommend?!

Samsung just under £500 whereas Sony just under £400. (Quick look on Amazon)
I believe the Sony has had good writeups but not sure about Samsung.
