I want to buy a tv set but I do not know if I should go for 16:9 set or for a 4:3. I am sending this message from Greece and here we do not have any free channel broadcasting in 16:9. I am between tow Sony models, one from each category (34F75 for 4:3 and 36FS70 for 16:9). Thanks for any reply.

Well if you primarily watch DVD at least 90% of the time then go for 16:9 definately. However if its gonna be split between DVD, TV broadcasts and gaming then its probably best to get a 4:3 TV with an anamorphic widescreen mode.

    Thank you for reply.
A salesman told me that in a few years all chanells will change their broadcasting format in 16:9 and then a wide screen will be more usefull.
And what about Sony models (I saw previews posts with complains about Sony but its difficult for me to believe it. Here, in Greece, Sony is the best trademark for tv sets....)
