Which TV? - Panasonic TX-37LZD80, Samsung LE37A556P, or Toshiba 37XV503DB

Hi all, I'm newly registered but have been browsing the forums for a few days trying to find information on which TV to buy.

I've read lots of threads and have narrowed it down to the 3 in the title. But which one to buy? If there is a better alternative out there at the same sort of budget range (£500 to £700) then I'd be open to suggestions.

Panasonic - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0015LV9DU/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Samsung - http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/sto...u=793242&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null

Toshiba - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-37X...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1208637576&sr=8-1

I definitely want 37" and 1080p but everything else is open.

I'll be using the TV mainly for Freeview and upscaled DVDs through a (soon to be purchased) PS3. There will also be gaming and the occasional Blu-ray movie.

Any and all feedback will be much appreciated :)

I would replace the Toshiba with 37V4500(HD Ready) and then check them out next to each other before making a choice. IMO, i would rate them in decreasing order of priority as:

Sony > Panasonic > Samsung.

I have myself singled on 32V4500 for my bedroom :) I dont think that 37 incher FullHD panel does much justice

Don't get the Samsung. I have the 37" and a 26" and I'm taking them back after just a couple of weeks! The picture quallity isn't very good and the sound quallity is terrible. Also the 26" has developed the common 'freeview not working' fault, altho the picture quallity is alot better, but I think that is just down to it being a smaller screen. The sound is still very poor quallity though.

Thats exactly what i meant when i placed it as last, last desperate measure as Samsung. Other than reasons you quoted, Samsung has reliability issues with a lot of ugly headed bugs that pop themselves out every now and then
