Smart TV: Dont really need it, but if you think its best, then thats fine.
3D: Dont need it.
Picture Quality: I need this as much as possible.
Cost: I would like to spend only what i need, but if i get better picture quality i will pay more.

What about HDR content? HDR support varies substantially across the range so if you're planning to watch stuff in HDR when available then it's well worth looking at the more expensive options.

What is your lighting like? Better contrast is more noticable in dimmer rooms.

Why those particular TVs? You seem to have missed off some popular models like Samsung's KS7500, K6300 and K5500/5510/5600 and Panasonic's DX700

I have blackout curtains so can watch in total darkness, but sometimes i will like the light on when im eating. I will be watching the tv from my bed laying down if this makes a difference. I would like HDR but i dont think there are any good ones at 43 inch size, so ive heard on here.

Samsung KS7500 is a curved screen which i dont like, and the k6300 and K5XXX are only 40 inch and didnt feel like they were worth mentioning. Panasonic DX700 is also only 40 inch.

If they are good at HDR i might consider the 40 inch and curved screen tvs.

Do you think next year there will be better HDR tv support in 43 inch tvs?
