    Hi all

    Im looking to buy a turntable, can anyone tell me what would the pro's and cons of buying from the following brand "dj type" turntables : Technics,Vestax,Numark.

    Wrong forum for a sensible answer, I suspect. However I can vouch for the Technics. Pretty bulletproof and very fast cueing.

    ok i'll look into more, i bought DJ magazine so i'll have a quick
    browse through that. Vestax seem to be more expensive though.

    What forum would you recommend for the topic of dj turntables?

    Also which turntable should i go for?
    1200, 1210 mk2, 1210 mk3 ?
    what's the difference in the last two?

    an sl1210 is : £300:rolleyes:

    Sorry, I don't know the detail on recent models. I used to use 1200's for spinning in sound effects.

    As to a suitable forum, I'd do a search on something like DJ forum, DJ equipment forum etc and see what you turn up.
