Hi there I am look for some advice and after trawling the forums would like some final advice from this knowledgeable community. I am look at getting a budget LCD for under £800. I want nothing smaller than a 40. The way I see it I have two genuine models to consider, The Samsung LE40R74BDX and the LG LC2D (42). Both are similarly priced, have nice looks, and have 1 HDMI slot. My first instinct was to go for the Samsung and after reading tons of reviews I have mixed feelings. There seems to be quite a few grips with it, ie, the Panel lottery, the crap sound, HDMI connection errors with Sky. With the LG things seem to be much more positive (however there are much fewer reviews). I am leaning towards the LG now and wondered if anyone could talk me out of it or offer any other models for the price range? Any thoughts or comments? Which would you plump for?
FYI, I will be connecting my Xbox 360 and Sky SD (with no plans to upgrade to HD for a while)
