My room is 12 by 30 listening area 12 by 14.As I said in the speakers thread am demoing monitor audio silver s6's and s1's for rears next week at sevenoaks. If I like them will be buying in the next couple of weeks so need to get a move on for my svs .I was recommended the pc plus 20-39 but i heaqr there is a new smaller one coming out.Just wondered if that would be better for my rrom and more musical.I probably won't use the sub for cd replay but i play a lot of music dvds ,hence the need for a musical sub.many thanks

How are you wiring up the sub?
The new SVS comes with limited connectors, ie 1 phono, AFAICT.

Most of us don't need any more than a single phono cable to connect up our subs. Certainly you will get the best out of both film and music DVD with justy this connection.

A minority of people like to connect up to the speaker terminals on the amp in addition to the low level connection but in most cases it isn't necessary.

I would be interested to hear the reaction of Sevenoaks if they connect everything up for you as I don't suppose many (if any) will have heard an SVS in action

The 20-39 PC plus is more than adequate for your room unless you are constantly listening at reference levels

    Stop confusing the issue!!!! :D

Newbie265 is getting rear speakers. :)

He wouldn't be doing this if he was getting a 2 channel stereo system.

So he must be getting a multichannel AV system. :smashin:

So the 10" PB10-ISD will work just fine in his system.

    If it's any good.

It should cost between £650 and £680 depending on where you live. It seems that some airports are cheaper than others and some people live miles away from the airport

I had an SVS 25-31 PCi in my previous home which was 13' X 14' and it filled my room with good bass with ease.
