which speakers under £400?

    Hello peeps, any chance of any of you helping me out?

    I am looking to buy a pair of speakers but am unsure which to buy.

    My main problem is that, because of the shape & size of my room, the speakers will be near the side walls.

    My room is approx about 4m x 4m

    I have been looking at the new KEF Q1s & the Mission 780s, however I dont know whether to buy standmounted or floorstanding speakers.

    Any suggestions?

    My room is only 5x5m and i have had floorstanders in the room, but thought they were a little to much for a small room. So i went for B&W's 601s 3's on Atacama stands. I got the 601's for £215 from superfi (the shop though) and i like them.

    if you are thinking around £400.00, have a listen to dynaudios audience 42, they outperform their size and their price by a good margin.
