Hi - I was hoping that someone could give me some advice as this is really driving me mad....

    I have the following kit
    Sony KV32FX66 (TV)
    Sony DVP725D (DVD)
    Sony SLV SF90 (Video)
Sony STRDB780 (AV Amp) on order

I do not know which speakers to get and have narrowed it down to the following:

Kef KHT 2005 - more expensive
Sony SAVE835ED - matches Sony set
Mission FS1 - good reviews and looks nice
Mission FS2 - award winning but now old

Has anyone got suggestions to help me?

Vineet, I used to be a bit like you. I used to buy nothing but Sony stuff too.

If you want some advice, I'd take that amp you have down to your nearest hi-fi dealer and get them to plug up all the speaker sets/bundles that they have in your price range .. then test away till your hearts content. I like doing that part, its kinda fun.

I got the KEF's in black - very nice looking,

currently just got the centre, left and right fronts and sub running in my system - surrounds going in over the weekend, seem to drive really well from my DB1070 amp, nice rounded sound, suprised at the amount of mid range........

got em from IKON AV £620 - good fast service too (3 days order to delivery)

    Vineet,
Have a look for some Q15's that seem to come up from time to time. Failing that, if your budget allows and you can go to the Q1's, these are also superb.
