    Hi all,

I have a Creative Labs Audigy (the first one) and would like to add some surround sound speakers to them for gaming (not films etc).

I quite like the look of Creative's Inspire 5.1 range, but I am not sure if I can get proper Dolby Digital support from the Audigy card?

I know games like Unreal 2 and Unreal Tournament 2003 support DD in game, but I remember reading posts some time ago saying that the Audigy ('one') card couldnt support this and you needed either a NForce mobo or Audigy 2.

Also, can anyone recommend a speaker set (similar to Creative's) which either come with rear speaker stands, or are easily available? Budget £150ish. Seems to me that most computer surround sound speaker packages think we like to have our (very small) speakers on the floor! Either that or we have wrap-around desks.

    Can anyone out there help?

    Cheers,

    SilverFish
